Term 3

Welcome to an overview of our Term 3 learning in Year Two!

Our subject Big Questions this term are:

Music: Does the structure of music matter?

Art: What form is spring?

PE (Dance): How does dance help my feelings?

PE (Target Games): How does challenge motivate you to improve?

Computing: Why do instructions need to be clear?

History: Is one person able to change the world?

PSHE: Is risk always dangerous?

Religious Education: How do Muslims follow the straight path?

Science: How do the properties of materials dictate their uses?

English

In English, the children have been finding out about instructions. They have looked at and followed different instructions. The children then sequenced a set of instructions.

Maths

In maths, we have started learning about multiplication. We have made equal groups and found out that multiplication can be written as a repeated addition number sentence.

PE

Reading Event

Year 2 welcomed their parents and carers for our reading event. The children thoroughly enjoyed reading with their adults and taking part in a range of reading activities. Year 2 loved sharing their enthusiasm for reading with you all!
