Courage Class have been enjoying the book Bertie and the Alien Chicken by Jenny Pearson during their Guided Reading session.

This book is all about a boy called Bertie who goes to stay on his Uncle's farm in the countryside when his mum goes to work in America. Whilst there he meets an alien chicken nicknamed Nugget who has come from Nurgle-7 to Earth to look for a special resource.

Can Bertie help Nugget to find the special resource and help save planet Earth from being exterminated.
