PE

Children do go outside for P.E. in the winter unless it is raining; therefore, we recommend a tracksuit.

Swimming Kit

Girls will be expected to wear a one piece swim suit and boys either swimming trunks or above the knee swim shorts.

Jewellery

No jewellery is allowed, with the exception of small ear studs, to be worn in the ear lobe. Children are personally responsible for their ear studs and also for their watch if they choose to wear one. Watches must also be removed for PE. Children must not wear dangling earrings for safety reasons. No jewellery at all is permitted during any P.E. activity. If children wear earrings for school on P. E. days, they must be able to take them out themselves. Ear rings must be covered with plasters in the 6 weeks immediately after being pierced, should this fall in school term time.

Hairstyles

Children must have suitable hairstyles. Coloured hair, overly spiked up hair, shaven heads and Mohican hairstyles are not permitted. Hair accessories should be minimal and in keeping with school colours.

Identification of personal property

Please ensure that your child’s belongings are clearly labelled: this makes the task of returning lost property much easier.
