Term 4

Term 4 - also known as (round and round we go!)

We welcome you back to another term! We will begin to explore different types of vehicles, from the past and the present. We look forward to a walk to our local church ahead of Easter celebrations and plenty of opportunities for identifying signs of spring. With world book day ahead of us, we will continue to enjoy some new stories including ‘Mr wolfs pancakes’ and some non-fiction texts all about transport. In maths we begin to build the numbers 9 and 10, not forgetting 3D shapes to learn all about! Our children will continue to engage in independent learning opportunities within out indoor and outdoor learning areas… Photos of this will be uploaded weekly to showcase our fantastic learning!

Straight into term 4 and its amazing to some of our core values shown within our continous provison this week. Lots of fellowship, respect, sharing and turn taking happening.

BINGO! Reception had some maths fun, finding the numbers on their bingo card and identifying the picture representations. The children were quick to cross the numbers off and turn their picture cards over.

A busy week of representing numbers to ten, a role play train ride linked to our story, some artists hard at work drawing some signs of spring and lots of fellowship shown through games.

This week the children have been learning all about space, the plants, a famous astronaut called Tim Peake and they have LOVED the 100 piece space puzzle!! Such teamwork and enthusiasm shown this week.

World Book Day 2024

We had a visit from the Willoughby farm tractor! We couldn't believe the size of the wheels, they were HUGE!
