Week One

Our first week back for the final term in Year 3! We began our week by exploring our fabulous homework projects that we completed last term celebrating our knowledge of the Romans. The children have all worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks creating detailed drawing, researching facts and creating magnificent structures showcasing part of the Roman empire - Well done all! We also began our new unit in English where we are exploring the story of Romulus and Remus and how Rome begun!

Week Two 

We have had an incredibly busy week this week! We started the week off by exploring real Roman artefacts from the collection in Lincoln. We discussed and analysed a range of artefacts and what they may have been used for during the Roman empire. We then moved on to our History unit and explored trade during the empire. We began our new unit in Music where we are retrieving our knowledge of playing the ukulele and learning to play in unison. We also started our unit in PE where we are learning to play handball! Lastly, we had a brilliant trip to Boston United and enjoyed taking part in activities and a tour of the grounds.
