Reading for Pleasure
The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
We were very excited to start reading this novel as a class! This tells a detailed version of the classical story 'The Jungle Book' with lots of interesting vocabulary! We are hoping to add any new vocabulary to our BAT display in the classroom to help us when we are creating our own stories.
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy
We enjoyed reading this book today and studying the beautiful illustrations. As a class we reflected on the meanings behind the quotes and stories within the book. We then practised painting in the style of Mackesy to support the making of our Christmas Art.
