Term 6
English
This term in English we are looking at how we can entertain an audience with our writing.
For the first two weeks of the term we will be looking at the poem 'The Magic Box by Kit Wright, as part of our Poetry Slam.
During Poetry Slam week, we practiced the poem and then working in our small groups we decided how we could recite the poem together, adding in actions and props to engage our audience.
The Magic Box by Kit Wright
The children have worked hard over the last two weeks to learn the poem 'The Magic Box' off by heart and work on how they could perform this to an audience.
We hope you enjoy our performances.
