Sports funding is a new government initiative introduced after the success of the 2012 Olympics. Below is the report of how we spent the funding in previous years.

We believe that sport is very important for our children therefore we provide them with many sporting opportunities. So far we have completed competitions against other schools in orienteering, football and indoor athletics. We have many more planned for the year ahead including a dance festival and cricket tournament.

We also believe that it is important to have high quality P.E. within our school therefore we have invested some of our Sports Funding into continuing professional development for our teachers. This has proven to be highly effective in raising the ARE of our children's ability within the area of P.E.
