Harvest is an important theme for this term's learning, touching on work in Science about plants, in RE about being thankful and in Geography, looking at how the land changes throughout the seasons.  

We have already explored the school grounds and found lots of exciting plants and seeds, including acorns from oak trees.  

In art, we have been exploring the use of different colours in paintings, both vibrant and neutral.  We will also look at creating different tones in future lessons.

In PE, we have been practising our skipping skills and playing different games that require us to work as a team.  This involves using talk purposefully to communicate our ideas clearly and patiently!

In Computing, we are looking at how to use technology safely, developing our awareness of how to respond if we feel unsafe.  

Our music learning centred on practising songs for our Harvest Service, thinking about how the audience and performers both participate in different ways during a performance.  Navigate to the tab, 'Harvest Service' to see some photos.
