Over the course of the year, parents are invited to read with their child. These usually take place on a Friday afternoon, just before the end of the school day and lots of parents and carers join us. During this time, you may be shown some of the books your child has enjoyed reading in class, learn more about phonics and reading games to play, visit the library and have time with your child to chat and read books.
