Week Beginning 25th January

Welcome to this week's home learning!

Wow, Courage Class, you really do continue to shine! Well done to all of you for the effort you have put into your learning.

Please find below your learning for the week- use the timetable if you wish to follow the same learning as the children who are in school.

Where you see the word video in blue, click on it and it will take you directly to the correct video to support your learning.

As before, please share your completed work on Twitter and via email and let us know how you are getting on.

Remember to ask about anything you are unsure of and book in with Mrs Favell or myself for a video chat where we can help you with any learning. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what you produce this week!

Overarching Question Term 3

'Is it always possible to be a good neighbour?'

We have already thought about who our neighbours are and who Jesus said they were and identified ways we show we are good neighbours. Last week we identified some of the things that demonstrate how people locally and around the world demonstrate they are not good neighbours.

We often see in the news, locally and globally, some of the actions of others that demonstrate they are not being good neighbours. War, hunger, deforestation, prejudice, bullying, littering and violence were some of the things you listed that demonstrate how we are not being good neighbours to one another and indeed good citizens of the world God created.

This week see if you can research some of those people who clearly demonstrate they are good neighbours and inspire others. In our class get together we explored the life of Captain Tom, through his book One Hundred Steps.

Can you identify others who inspire others through their actions, to be a good neighbour to others?

Spend some time researching Mother Theresa for example. How did she demonstrate to the world that she was a good neighbour?
