St Thomas' CE Primary Academy

  • Whole school book voting

Each class has their own voting station with a selection of books to vote for. The children hear about the books and then they place their vote. It is always brilliant to hear about their reasons. The children are always very excited about it.

Recently, the whole school has been voting for the best picture books from a selection. They were placed in the corridor and teachers swapped them throughout the days to read to the children. At the end of the week, the children then placed their votes. It was great to see such engagement and enthusiasm.  As the whole school took part, there were great conversations between siblings and friends as each class read and then voted for their favourite.
