The Three Little Pigs

This week we have loved learning the story of the Three Little pigs. We have generated exciting vocabulary to describe the pigs houses and even acted out the story with our friends.

Today we predicted what our next text was going to be. We looked at picture clues to try to guess. It is The Little Red Hen!

This week in Maths, we have have begun to understand the value of numbers within 10. We have then taken our knowledge further by putting the value into a tens frame.

We have been exploring the school environment looking for objects and identifying their materials. We found objects made from wood, glass, fabric and plastic.

We have been exploring Balloon Dog by Jeff Koons. We looked at the shapes used and replicated these in our sketch books. We then used water colours to paint them.
