Consider how classic poems can be used for handwriting, memorising, art work and even as a basis for writing the whole story. 


For example: This term, we have read the poem 'The Jabberwocky' and created how to slay a Jabberwock texts. 

Suggested home activities

*Learn it off by heart;

*Write a recount (newspaper, diary, blog, letter etc) about the Jabberwock slaying;

*Write a narrative as a Jabberwock - I wonder what a Jabberwock would be thinking;

*Create art work based upon the Jabberwocky.



Be as creative as you can! Mrs G can't wait to see your work on the Jabberwock!
